My Team Cares is a self-guided fundraising and volunteer program that enables groups—whether from workplaces, sports teams, schools, or faith communities—to make a meaningful impact. It’s a fun and flexible way to strengthen bonds within your team while supporting neighbors facing food insecurity in Cochrane and surrounding area.

  1. Form a Team
    Gather your colleagues, teammates, classmates, or friends—any group of 5 or more is welcome.

  2. Choose Your Challenge
    Pick how you’d like to help:

    • Food drives & collection bins: gather non-perishable items.

    • Fundraising: hold bake sales, workplace dress-down days, or friendly competitions.

    • Drop-off drives: collect daily essentials like hygiene products or toilet paper.

    • Volunteer time: schedule shifts helping in our warehouse or with community distribution.

  3. Register Your Team
    Let us know your team name, participants, and selected activities so we can provide support.

  4. Engage & Promote
    Share your efforts with your network—post on social media, hang posters, or send newsletters.

  5. Deliver & Support
    Bring items or fundraising dollars to our location, or we can arrange pickup if needed.
